Empl Feuerwehrshop
A closed B2B shop for fire-service supplies: fire services had to register, and ordering happened behind a login. 2008, when online shops were still new and rare in a specialist trade. The project in detail.

A shop whose product is never shipped: a custom voucher product type produces a print-ready PDF carrying a barcode, redeemable at the till. In service for more than five years. The project in detail.

What does an online shop cost?
It depends on what the shop has to do and what already exists. That is why the free short check comes first: 30 minutes looking at the shop live with you. After that I can name an effort that is worth something. Before it, I would be guessing.
Can you take over an existing shop?
Yes, and it is a large part of my work. I work in through the code, the repository and the deployment history, stabilise what is running and make the next steps plannable again. A rebuild is rarely the first step.
Do you only work with Magento?
My focus is Magento 2, since 2008, with Hyvä as the frontend for it. If your shop runs on something else, say so in the short check: on integrations and data flow I am not tied to a platform, on the shop itself I am.
Do you handle ongoing maintenance too?
Yes. Patches, security updates and the small changes that come up in daily operation. It is the part many projects forget after go-live, and the part that keeps a shop viable for years.
What exactly is a B2B ordering portal?
A shop for business customers rather than consumers: customer price lists, approvals, ordering on account, and the connection to your inventory system. Your customers order themselves instead of calling or faxing.
Do you work with agencies?
Regularly. Most of my work is white-label development and ships under the agency's name. If you are an agency and need Magento or Hyvä depth, that is the usual arrangement.
One Person, From the Question to the Code
I work out what is needed, write the requirement, organise whoever else works on it, and then build it myself. Usually that is three companies, and something is lost at every handover between them. Here there is nobody between your question and the running system.
