This privacy policy informs you in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) about the processing of personal data on this website.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Host Europe GmbH (Strasbourg, France, EU). When you visit the website, the web server automatically records the following data in server log files:

  • IP address of the accessing device
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the requested page
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Status of the request (successful or not)
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL (previously visited page)

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical provision and security of the website). Server log files are automatically deleted after 14 days.

The hosting provider processes data on our behalf within the European Union. No data is transferred to third countries.

When you use the contact form on this website, the following data is collected:

  • Message

This data is used exclusively to process your enquiry. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

Your data will be deleted after your enquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. tax retention periods of 7 years pursuant to § 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code / BAO).

Email Contact

If you contact us by email, your details including the contact information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry. Email communication is handled via Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland). Microsoft processes data under its Data Processing Agreement within the EU. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

5. Web Analytics with PostHog

This website uses PostHog, a product analytics platform provided by PostHog Inc. Data processing takes place on PostHog servers within the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). No personal data is transferred to third countries.

PostHog operates on this website without cookies. No tracking cookies or local storage data is placed on your device. Each page view is recorded as an independent, anonymous event — no identification across page views or sessions takes place.

The following data is processed:

  • Pages visited and time of visit
  • Click events and page navigation
  • Time spent on pages
  • Referring page (referrer)
  • Browser and operating system
  • Device type and screen resolution
  • Country (derived from anonymised IP address)

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in statistical analysis to improve the website). Event data is routed through a first-party subdomain and processed directly on PostHog servers within the EU.
